stop listening to this - joshua hamilton

this is joshua hamilton's first project that he's released under his real name after about 7 years (2018-25) of releasing music as the character lil darkie. i listened to this album when it first came out and didn't like it that much. looking back, i was particularly depressed (and half asleep) when i first listened to it so that probably had an effect on my lack of enjoyement of it especially considering how experimental this album is compared to his darkie stuff. i re-listened to it about a week ago and i love it. it feels kinda wrong to call this album experimental but i think that's mostly because i like it so it doesn't feel too experimental to me. thinking of things to say is hard. me like. i think it might be my 2nd favourite album of the jhau (joshua hamilton auditory universe), behind yang, his 2nd to last darkie album. i don't think darkie is explicitly dead, more of a shift of focus from joshua. i think i'm done here. i don't like giving things numbers, fuck you i'm not fantano. also joshua is bi so happy pride.
